Model 1500-1034 One Inch - Below Grade Sampling Station - Meter Box Installation

The Model 1500-1034 line of below grade sampling stations is a meter re-setter design intended to be installed in an existing meter pit.  Simply remove an existing meter, install the Model 1500-1034 “All-In-One” sampling station, then re-install your existing meter.  The Model 1500-1034 provides a quick and easy sampling point at an existing meter location.  The sampling point is on the side of the re-setter. The main advantage of this unit is the ease of installation — no digging and very little plumbing.

The unit consists of a meter re-setter, an angle dual check backflow preventer, a quick connect sampling port with a protective “dirt” cover for the sampling port. The 1500-1034 line is constructed of bronze, brass and copper.  The unit is only for one inch meters.  For smaller meters, see model 1500.

Water samples are taken through the side-mounted quick connect fitting using a portable Sampling Rod, which is carried from site to site by the operator. The sampling rod is sold separately.

Two types of quick connections are available: the standard brass “snap-in” quick connect or the stainless-steel “screw-on” connection.  The standard brass “snap-in” connector is indicated by “NL” Suffix on Model Number and the screw type connection is indicated by “SVLV” Suffix on Model Number.
