Product Description

The Model 1500-1034 below grade sampling station is a meter re-setter design. It is intended to be installed in an existing meter pit in place of the existing meter, and the meter is reinstalled in the new re-setter. The sampling point is on the side of the re-setter.  The main advantage of this unit is the ease of installation with no digging and no plumbing.

The unit re-setter is available in 3 configurations:

  1. Angled Backflow Only
  2. No Angled Backflow and No Angled Curb Stop
  3. Angled Backflow and Angled Curb Stop

A quick-connect sampling port and a protective cover are mounted on the side of the re-setter. The Model 1500 is constructed of bronze, brass and copper. Smaller meter sizes are available as the Model 1500.

Water samples are taken through the side-mounted quick-connect fitting using a sampling rod, which is carried from site to site by the operator. The sampling rod is sold separately.

Two types of quick connections are available: the brass “snap-in” quick connect or the stainless steel “screw-on” connection. Screw-on type connection indicated by “SVLV” Suffix on Model Number.

  1. Remove Existing Meter
  2. Install the Sampling Station
  3. Reinstall Your Existing Meter
