Model 2B36A -2" Post Flushing Hydrant - Sch 80 PVC

Product Description

The model 2B36A is a 2” post flushing hydrant.  The unit will fit in our Model 104 enclosure (sold separately) available in blue or green colors.

The unit is 100% non-corrosive, constructed from schedule 80 PVC, bronze, and stainless steel. The 2B36A operating valve stem is protected from direct ground contact by a PVC housing.

The outlet is 2½” NSF Fire Hydrant threads allowing the unit to provide a moderate level of fire protection. The inlet is 2” female NPT.

The top post portion of the hydrant is shipped unglued so that any discharge direction / connection direction is available.  Installer will need PVC cleaner and glue during install.

Freeze protection is accomplished by pumping the barrel free of water using a standard hand pump. The unit is available with an optional weep valve for self-draining freeze protection.

The standard depth bury is 36” with any depth bury available in 6” increments.
